OUR FOUNDER

Ms. Frida Misago is a global advocate for career education and a bilingual Systems Change Leader in global workforce development, with a decade of experience building cross-sector partnerships across Africa, the Americas, Asia, and Europe. Her academics span international management and intercultural intelligence from l'Université de Moncton, humanitarian assistance from Fordham University, and public policy, data, and economics from Massachusetts Institute of Technology. This mix shapes her rigorous and human-centered approach to systems improvement.
Fluent in English and French, she has collaborated with institutions including United Nations' Agencies, Mastercard Foundation, Ivy League universities, Global Affairs Canada, and the Swedish International Development Cooperation Agency; scaling economic growth, employment, social inclusion, and youth & women empowerment programs for underrepresented populations. With a tracked record of managing multi-million dollar portfolios, she has brought a rare combination of policy alignment, access to institutional networks, and program architecture to every partnership agreement she has led across 30+ countries, with equity and systemic impact always at the center.
Her work spans four interconnected pillars: economic growth, social inclusion, human capital development, and the empowerment of youth and women. These are not parallel tracks for Ms. Misago, they are deeply interdependent systems, and her decade of practice has been dedicated to strengthening the connections between them.
As the Managing Director at MISA-WORK Agency, she continues this work driven by one clear conviction: equitable economies require deep social inclusion. Ms. Misago builds this future by opening doors to high-barrier career paths and strengthening the workforce institutions that will shape the emerging global leaders.
Enhanced human capital, improved institutional capacity, and long-term equity; that is what defines MISA-WORK Agency in practice, in partnerships, and in vision for what systems change will look like at a global scale.
